The sandy beach and dunes are just a quarter mile walk across fields from this lovely chalk and carrstone cottage. With a sunny conservatory, south facing garden and spacious accommodation it offers an excellent base in a delightful, quiet coastal village with a pub. Holme Bird Reserve is on your doorstep and Titchwell Bird Reserve is a short distance away. Scolt Head, known as ‘bird island’, is a boat ride from Brancaster Staithe, a beautiful estuary, very popular with sailors. Other places worth a visit along the coast are Sandringham House, Thornham and Wells-next-the-Sea, where working fishing boats may still be seen and Blakeney, famous for its seals.
Walkers will enjoy circular walks in the area and the long distance paths of the Roman Peddars Way and the North Norfolk Coastal path.
